#still disappointing

still don't understand why mgs 3 was the one they decided to make a remake of when the original is still completely accessible and playable by casual audiences today. There are at least 4 other games in the series i would argue deserve a remake/re-release/touch-up more before 3 even comes into consideration

Guys, as a reminder, I’m married to a two-time combat veteran. War and the military are an extremely complex issue which include some really terrible things but I am not going to be ashamed of his service. If you start posting a ton of extreme anti-military stances with no actual dialogue about the complexities of the issues I’m probably going to unfollow. No hard feelings, but I am not here for that kind of bullshit.

[For the record I’m talking about the strong uptick in posts I’ve seen lately calling military members monsters, murderers, baby-killers, stating they are responsible for LGTBQ+ deaths etc etc etc.]

I just want you to know that Dread-supreme used your animations in a video, it's currently at like 23,700 notes. I didn't see them credit you, and didn't know if they asked your permission!

and I’m not really that upset about it, but it is disappointing.

I had one person TELL me they were using my animation (instead of asking, which I found somewhat rude, but shrugged it off since they did credit me) and I’ve already seen people take credit for my videos. Yeah, it’s shitty of them to take credit for things they didn’t exactly make. People have been doing that for a long time, and still do it, especially on the internet. Where you can just upload something at the push of a button. “Hey I made this thing” and there’ll be 100 thousand people who instantly believe it.

It’d be a little different if it were my drawn art, I’d be pretty miffed if someone did that. I see it happen all the time, too. Someone draws a nice comic or a really good picture, and it gets reposted and rehashed just for upvotes and reblogs and retweets and notes, they want to feel like they’re popular... I get it.

Off-topic but last month it was my birthday and my parents decided to give me money because I don't celebrate it and they didn't know what present to buy anyway. But today the priest blessed our house (I live in an orthodox country.) and because he caught us by surprise my parents gave him my birthday money.
