So, in high school I took Spanish. We would play a “game” where the teacher would say a word or phrase in English, and we would have to compete with another student to see who could write it in Spanish faster. The loser would sit down and we would see who could last the longest. So here I come, Ms. Failing Spanish. I was so upset that I had to go up there and they were trying to encourage me and what not. So, he gives me and my competitor “smile”. And instead of translating the word I straight up turn around and give the teacher and the class the biggest smile because I thought he wanted me to smile at them. They all burst out laughing. They kept on saying hey you smile! Needless to say, I lost.
