Upcoming James Norrington Appreciation Day

Say it with me now:

James Norrington is a main character.

James Norrington is underrated.

James Norrington deserved better.

Maybe it's just the corner of Tumblr that I inhabit, but the Pirates of the Caribbean fandom doesn't give him enough credit for his character or for what he has done.

The specifics of why he deserved better will be addressed in another post.
