Baby! It's Cold Outside || Tron
Winter had struck the castle and the grounds were filled with snow, the halls decorated as Hagrid prepared the annual Christmas tree. Everything was falling into place, and yet there was still a small empty feeling at the pit of Tracey's stomach, watching as everyone became excited over plans for the holiday break, she couldn't help, but long for the days such a thing would excite her. Pushing herself off her seat in the Great Hall, she tugged her winter coat off the bench and pulled it over her shoulders. The warmth instantly offering some form of comfort as she made her way out.
The clinging of forks still rang through the Entrance Hall, and the spirit of Christmas lingered along the halls. No longer wishing to be surrounded by the festivities, Tracey pushed open the double doors and welcomed the sudden gust of wind brushing the hair out of her eyes. The sound of just her heels echoing on the cobblestone welcoming as he trudged through the snow toward the pitch.
It was a bit odd for someone that had spent very little time on a broom to find comfort in such a place, yet she somehow did. Perhaps it was the peaceful aura it brought on evenings when everyone else was occupied elsewhere,or simply the open space. Regardless, it had always been her go to place for thinking at Hogwarts.
Finding her place in the midst of the field, she plopped down into the icy cold snow before leaning back onto her hood as a pillow. The sky above darker than the previous nights she had spent out on the pitch due to the cold month of December, while the stars seemed to glisten just a little brighter, she quickly found herself at peace in her thoughts once more as she hummed to herself.
