A Haunting Past
As Tracey left the studio that night, the memory of a few nights before still played in her mind. It was hard to let them slip, as she finally locked up the doors, she turned and looked around. Perhaps a walk was needed, she told herself before starting towards the trail just on the outskirts of town. She'd been told by one of the locals that it was a great walking trail, once she was out of sight she used her wand to send her work things home. She needed to be free, and that would help. As she made her way deeper and deeper in the forest, she began to feel a weird feeling just at her hip, something like a burn. The further she walked, the more it burned, and eventually she came to a halt, wincing at the feeling. She lifted her blouse slightly to reveal what to most would seem just like an ordinary tattoo, but to those in the Wizarding World it was, much much worse. It was a mark, one that many had, though very few had in that location. "How?" She muttered aloud, not sure what to make of it as she brushed her fingers over the snake bit of the mark. Tracey's eyes quickly scanned the area for any sign of someone, anyone.
