~Running into Swarley
Monday, the most hated day out of the week. It meant an end to the relaxing weekend and a start to the long, exhausting week ahead, that basically meant work for the next five days. But was it the same for Robin? Well not exactly. Given that she did what she loved most for a living (anchoring), so work never quite felt like work. Sure with co-workers like Sandy came bumpy days but what fun would it have been without a little struggle to make her realize her opportunity's worth?
Plan was to get done with work, head straight to McLarens, grab a drink or two, probably a cheese burger to go along with them too and perhaps a milkshake. --Getting back to the point- "And.. we're off", said the cameraman which had Robin's stretched smile ease down. Taking a quick, deep breath she ran a hand through her hair, glancing down at her phone screen to have a quick look at the time. ~6:00 PM~ Well, wasn't the timing just ideal? Officially time for pack up and to act upon the already decided plans for the rest of the day.
Getting herself out of the building and taking the first available cab, she set off to her destination and once got done with clearing her ride's due, walked down the stairs that lead her into the bar itself. She and her limited gang of friends would usually gather up at the bar around this time, so others would probably start showing up soo-- Infact she could start ticking them off the list. Her eyes laid on a familiar blonde seated in their usual booth. "Hey Swarley!", she smirked as she shout out attaining his attention, with a probable eye roll coming her way too. If there was something he hated, more than the ducky tie, it was this particular unconsented nickname.
