She knew that he was worried about her,but she was fine—plus there was way toomuch to get done and she couldn’t just sit                here               and                wait.

❝ Can’t I at least organize the books?   I want to get the library open-ready. Please? ❞

Nina walked quickly, trying to feign being calm as she turned yet another corner. The moment she did she picked up her pace, half-running on tiptoes until she figured the group following would round the corner. The moment they did she slowed back down, pretending everything was okay as she walked away from the club and towards a detour of her way home.

When she pushed the door open for the police station she was surprised it opened, expecting it to be mildly locked up for the night. Her breath was shaking as she lightly panted from her heart racing in her chest. The panic of those following her spurring her to walk a little further inside, knowing they wouldn’t be stupid enough to come here after her.

“Not really no but at least I can get him back to his parents now that this is over. Can I barrow ya phone?”

“Sure, here you go. Has he gone to the bathroom yet?” Only by the smell would she knew if he might wake up with a desperate need to be changed. “You look good with a kid.”

“Um yeah not too sure why ya want to talk to me or what it’s all ‘bout but I am pretty sure this isn’t gonna be any good.”

“Depends on whether you can retain vast amount of information and retrieve it in thirty seconds or less.” Give or take a few seconds. “I am signing us up for the local charity event and winners receive gift cards to several stores, including Mr. Gold’s Pawn Shop. I want us to win.”

Cerberus looked up from his bottle of Jack. He really wasn’t in much of a mood since he had found out the reason for his curse, the past with Rumpelstiltskin, and the fact that two realities had collided, that of the man named Jal and now his cursed self. The bottle of Jack at The Rabbit Hole sounded ten times better than talkin’.

Oh so he was going to play this, was he? Belle sat herself down next to him, asking for just juice when the bartender came over. While she was no stranger to alcohol, Belle was here for another reason. “Come on, you have to talk about it at some point,” she said gently, looking his way.

     He’s just awoken from his nap, one of those special days were the girls      were at school, and he had papa all to himself.    Gabe found him out in       the garage,     Annie’s studio,   but the boy didn’t know that was what it       was so the secret was safe.        He poked papa’s leg, grinning, already       laughing at his next words.    Maybe the netflix subscription had been a      bad idea, but Gabe had fallen in love with Dinosaurs.

     He whispered, grinned, and then laughed his little head off.   Taking off      away from papa like some childish game he’d made.
