Despite the overlap in their work, Rhys couldn't really remember seeing Tyler outside of work. Maybe only once, at the party during the time loop, but other than that he wasn't sure. So it was a surprise when he saw Tyler in the mess by himself.

Gen's hip gently brushed the table as he walked by, and then he stopped. Maybe he should actually spend time with his fellow crewmate, especially as in the past Tactical Officers like himself and Chief Security Officers like Tyler had the same job.

“And if you find yourself in a hole, Christine,” Erica huffed. “You gotta stop digging.” She pressed her back up against the wall, particularly unimpressed with the situation they had happened to find their selves in. Of course it was on an away mission when they got separated from the group, of course it was. “I really need to stop going on away missions.”

“Hold on!” Ortegas stuck her hand out as she watched the turbolift door started to close. She let out a soft sigh as she got her hand in the door and it slid back open. “Sorry,” Erica panted softly, looking up to the occupant of the lift. “Sorry Spock, was in a rush. Hope I’m not delaying you too much.”

“Don’t think we’ve formally met.” The last few days out of space dock had been chaotic, Ortegas hadn’t had time to introduce herself to the new members of the crew and the new chief of security was probably a good person to introduce herself to. She raised a hand, offering it in a friendly gesture. “Ortegas, helmsman, pleasure to meet you.”

Glenn was a light sleeper, he knew he didn’t have to sleep, but he figured he would try anyway. Unfortunately, tonight he was woken up by someone shuffling about the room and he lifted his head as his eyes adjusted to the dark. “Ve--” His voice was soft, he didn’t want to wake up anyone else. “What are you doing up?”

“Una,” eyebrows raised as he spoke, a curious glint in his eyes. She was here, a surprise to him. Maybe here to check up on Christopher, the idiot, not so much Paul himself. They barely had any reason to interact besides their shared interest in Christopher as a friend and a ‘friend.’ However, they’d found a solid ally in each other, someone who was respected and intelligent as the other, in some ways at least. “Here to harass Chris again? He survived his latest away mission, so I see no reason you should be here.”

Another person, another chance to get treats. Grudge purred and rubbed against the leg of the person, looking up at him. Pointy ears, interesting, she hadn’t seen those before. Well, maybe she had, she couldn’t remember as she’d spent so much time with Book and his round ears. Her eyes were kept on the man, she was trying so hard to get treats, it was all she wanted. Michael had cut her off, which was horrible considering he was just starting to like her. Maybe she had cut Michael too much slack for making Book happy. Regardless, she needed a new treat source and she was sure this man could give her some.

“Yeah, and your girlfriend and my partner will have our necks,” Paul grumbled, slapping Chris gently on the shoulder. It’s that stupid grin that hits Paul every time, that stupid grin that reminds him that this is one of his best friends. One of his only friends. He would rather not lose another one so soon. “That was the stupidest shit you’ve pulled in a long time, I would know I’ve been around to see more of it than any other person on this ship.”
