Food poverty is the inability of individuals and households to obtain an adequate and nutritious diet. In London, more than 2.3 million Londoners live below the poverty line and 33% of adults have skipped meals to save money so that their children can eat. I received contact from a parent from a struggling household short on food. A request was made for a food parcel. With our resources depleted and no volunteers I faced a conundrum but agreed to take the request on - Something would come up.
