Stoeger Coach Gun - .410 Bore
Stoeger Cougar 8045F
Originally designed and manufactured by Beretta, the Cougar series of pistols was discontinued when the Beretta PX4 entered the market. That’s because the Cougar was Beretta’s first handgun to use the rotating barrel lock system, which would be adapted to the PX4. Stoeger, a subsidiary of Beretta, would then pick up production of the Cougar and assemble them in Turkey. One major difference with the Stoeger version is that there were variants with a railed frame for mounting lights or lasers. Although both the Beretta and Stoeger pistols are considered very accurate, easy to handle and decent for CCW, there are few options when it comes to holsters, primarily for the .45 ACP models or the ones with the rail. Very first stage of @3gunnation East Regionals, had a blast with the team. Raged all my bay stages and shorter stuff, but totally buried myself on a long range stage. Lessons learned, homework to do. #3gun #3gunnation #eastregionals #glock #stoeger #9mm @vortex_gear (at The Clinton House Plantation)
