assorted trans stormlight headcanons:

Navani is nonbinary and was hella worried about what Dal would think but he’s hella supportive and willing to try out new pronouns and thinks his spouse is hot however they identify

Kal is a trans boy, hence the illegal trousers. the rules may have called for a skirt takama with nothing under but his dysphoria said otherwise

Evi, a known trans woman, was over the goddamn moons when she arrived in a country full of super tall ladies and was shorter than alllll the other women for the first time and got to feel feminine and petite 

Dalinar took Adolin on a massive shopping trip for Stylish Boy Clothes(tm) when he first came out bc he knew how much a new wardrobe helped when he himself was first transitioning and because he knew clothes mattered a whole lot to his new son

Adolin went on a similar trip with Shallan when she came out as a girl.

Shallan will 100% draw ‘ideal self’ portraits for all the trans girls who ask her for one to help them figure out how they want to present and make them feel hopeful.

All of the radiants’ spren helped them with new names and pronouns and used them to ease their dysphoria before they felt able to come out 

Kal and Laral came out around the same time and swapped all their clothes, and people would joke that Kaladin’s fancy lighteyes name made sense now since he was wearing fancy lighteyes clothes

part of why Jasnah’s writing was so important to teeny Shallan was that she was a closeted trans girl with a horrible home life and it was insanely important for her to have a beautiful princess as a role model

Lift? nonbinary. Kal recognises their different experiences but is still eager to help with things like binding.

Renarin loves his top surgery scars so much because the majority of his struggles have been emotional and unseen but the scars on his chest feel like something real that display his pain and show that he’s a warrior
