It's funny last night I was pushing through more of Alien: Isolation while on mic with a friend and I started saying "this game got a lot less scary for me after the Alien got jettisoned into space. There's still like five more missions left so it's definitely gonna turn back up but at least until it does I know I'm safe" and I'm not joking before I could even finish the sentence I looked up and noticed I was walking directly into an Alien hive with dozens of empty facehugger eggs and chestbursted corpses all over the floor. I cannot adequately communicate the depths of my despair in that moment.
