The only AI we should be praising
Wrote a BloodyMary Grounded AU featuring Amanda Ripley from Alien Isolation and Chell from Portal.
I’m very excited about it, even if I only kinda know what I’m doing with it.
It’s honestly probably going to be dubiously accurate to the game because I am actually so bad at Grounded. I just think it’s neat.

ALIEN ISOLATION 💀
Alien Isolation #33👽(End) - Zara The Silent Gamer
After years of waiting, Amanda Ripley is given the news that a black box from the Nostromo has been recovered. So with her two companions, Samuels and Taylor, they head to Sevastopol Station in hopes of finally finding answers.
This game is a faithful sequel to the original Aliens movie, following on in it's footsteps with the main character's daughter as the protagonist. Even if you've never watched Aliens or have zero knowledge of the franchise, the game's story is very easy to follow. It also has voice recordings and logs that scattered throughout the space station on computer terminals.
In a weird way, it reminds me of Bioshock but in the best way possible. The xenomorphes are genuinely terrifying at times and very quick. There's actually parts in my playthrough were I stop moving because I know that I fucked up and the xenomorph has caught me. Like when I had just got the code for a key card, thought I was in the clear but, as I'm putting in the code, I got killed. Also those little face huggers can go back to the pits of hell they crawled out of.
While the graphics might not be shiny and new they still hold up very well. And the overall design takes a lot from it's inspiration, I love the idea of using the payphones as save points. However, I did experience several graphical glitches and bugs while playing. Crew members getting killed and their bodies getting stuck in the doors and, floating weapons.
The characters are memorable with distinctive personalities, I cried because of Samuels and, cheered because of what happened to Waits. Characters I didn't want to die, died and characters I did want to die, died. Except the xenomorphes. Fucking space cockroaches.
I really liked this game, it'll be a while before I play it again. But I had a great time. 5/5.
is it ominous if it's accurate?
