Pool & Fountain Coping

Much like the choice on how to frame a great work of art, the decision on how to finish the edge detail of a pool or fountain coping deserves careful consideration.  A coping can be employed to artfully conceal an overflow slot drain, become a border that intentionally highlights the water’s edge, or act as a subtle extension of the paving that blends seamlessly into the surrounding pool deck for a minimalistic effect. The variables of coping width, thickness, and edge shape — typically simple square-edge or some version of a bullnose — and surface finish all combine to give a project’s water feature its bespoke final touches.
