Yeah. It is like that, except more intense than forgetting a word. It's more like forgetting a story-world of characters and motives and world-laws. Basically the feeling when you wake up from a crazy dream and almost remember it but then it's gone.

What strikes me as weird though is the persistence of it. Almost everything has been triggering it since about 2 this afternoon (it's midnight here now). Like, maybe every 10-20 minutes? And it doesn't even feel like the same dream/show/book/game/part-of-my-life.

IDK I'm going to write it off as being overtired until I find anything about it, I guess. Could just be the forgetting-a-dream scenario snowballing because I keep focusing on it.

Oh hey I’ve never done one of these before. Welp I’m taking a food break, might as well!

To start this as creepily as possible: what are you wearing? Oversized Avengers giveaway teeshirt from a con, school hoodie, holey pants and comfy sneakers. ..it’s my biking outfit k >_>

Do you keep your online/offline lives seperate? How so and why? Yes and no? I’m pretty comfortable with my fandom activity and it turns out a surprising number of people in my department who I've never talked to about it have some inkling that I’m totally into superdudes banging (one of my professors left this on my FB wall). But I usually keep my online/artist name under wraps, mostly because of industry messiness—when doing fanart, I've let myself draw in styles and cover subjects in ways that I have no idea how potential employers might react to. To be clear, I’ve covered queer subjects and used them IN my portfolio and it’s cool, but I don’t need studio recruiters, you know.. seeing my old animu-ish Apollo and Midnighter picking the Doctor up and putting him on Midnighter's dick art, you know? (No, not that Doctor. And also it was terrible.)

What’s the first band/singer you remember liking? How do you feel about them now? Uhh well, back in the day, the only things I liked to listen to from our household's cassette tape collection (BECAUSE THAT WAS HOW YOU LISTENED TO MUSIC) was Broadway tunes. Phantom of the Opera, Les Mis, Cats, The King and I, etc.   But the first tape of an actual band that I bought myself was the Green Day: Dookie album.  I still like them, but moreso their old sound.  I'm not sure if that's lame now or what?  (You kids today, I have no idea.)

Is there anything specific you regret posting/saying on the internet? Looking back, I wish I could've composed myself more succinctly, less emotionally, without letting myself get bogged down by the derailing stuff back when the big Racebending movement heading the release of Shyamalan's Last Airbender adaptation was going on. I don't regret taking part in it though, and it's a media cause I still believe in, even if I just don't have the energy to engage anymore.

How many languages do you speak, and are there any others you’d like to learn? Just the one, fluently. English is my first language. I guess 3 with what I've learned? I know enough to get by in Japanese, which I started taking because I felt kind of weird not knowing my ancestral language.  I'm twice as experienced in French though I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED THERE What I really want to learn is Spanish though; I live in California and it's pretty shameful to me that I don't know how to communicate in the chief second language here. 

What’s the state of your desk/workspace?
 CHAOTIC. I cleared it off to do some painting back in December and now it's a war zone of random papers and shoe boxes and recipe cards and loose change.

Ever been shopping in your pyjamas? Just sweat pants, not that that's much better...

Your biggest fandom pet-peeve? Ooooooh, fanfic/fanart posts that lead in with a disclaimer about how it's sooooo bad, don't look at it, it's awful, I'm such a bad writer/artist! I think it's fine to acknowledge you have flaws as an artist/writer/creative person, or admit you're out of practice. But outright putting yourself down like that is so unappealing, and doesn't make me want to see what you've produced.

When did you last lose a tooth? One of my back molars feels like shit, I'm probably going to lose that one soon.

Is there a fictional character you adore whom you probably couldn’t stand in real life? Oh gosh. Absolutely most of them. There's very few characters who fascinate me and who I feel a great deal of affection for who aren't also assholes. Or at least seem like they're be pretty intolerable IRL. Javert, Saitou, Sanji, Tony, I love you, but I'm pretty sure being around you for five minutes would make me want to die.
