LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! BOYS AND GIRLS! AND THAT TECHNICOLOR RAINBOW IN BETWEEN! Allow me to introduce the main MC of the Pokemon World Tournament, CRAIG STONE!
Now, Craig doesn't like to brag. If anything, the dark coloration of his clothing is kind of something he does to not stand out too much. As far as he's concerned, you're not here for him, you're here for all the awesome trainers who are giving it their all to become the Pokémon World Champion of the year, and to etch their name in the annals of history!
Oh, you actually wanna know a little something something? Well, can't say no to a curious mind, amirite?
Now, his team is admittedly a little basic because it's not a specialist team or a free-for-all team. It's a "kick the crap out of cheaters and throw them out of my arena" team, just in case that has to be an option. For the softest opponent, he has his Midnight Lycanroc, a sharp little tack with a love for showing off. She'll knock the wind out of you and not apologize for it! For tougher folk, he's got a slightly surly Golem straight from Alola and trained to the best level he can get, and a Gigalith who... well, let's just say you should beware the quite ones. And if you're able to beat all those, his first partner Rhydon has a fist with your face on it. Now, I'm sure you're all wondering why he's got a Rhydon and not a Rhyperior, and Craig would like to let you know that Rhyperior is a bad evolutionary state for the species and neither he or his Pokémon want to deal with the problems of that.
The last two Pokémon he has are meant for the kinds of assholes that really can't take a message - A Tyrantrum that won't just knock you down, he'll make sure you stay down long enough to think about what you're doing, and if that doesn't get the point across, the final big boy is a Tyrannitar he raised from birth, and you don't wanna get on that Tyrannitar's bad side. Seriously, one thing you NEVER wanna do is piss off a Tyrannitar that has grown up alongside humanity, has access to a Mega Stone, and knows how much pain you can put a man through before he passes out. Last poor sonuva bitch broke every bone in his le-ANYWAY, Craig's team is purely security in nature and you do not want to be there when they're needed.
ANYWAY, Craig Stone and his team are ready to welcome you to the Tournament, and hope you have a wonderful time!
Oh and before we go, I'd like to confirm a rumor and deny another.
No, Craig Stone is not related to Steven Stone. It's a common last name where he comes from, and he'd rather not tell you where.
