Also yes yes yes to all of this!!! But also imagine the first time he actually gets to show off his muscles properly she actually does get pretty impressed, but like in the way she does when she sees weaponry (wouldn’t that be the ultimate Ruby Rose compliment 😏✨)

Well Ruby has always been an appreciator of a good gun show, if y’know what I mean?  

Do you know what comes to mind now? Do you think Ruby is the type of girl to complement a good boy when she’s impressed by him or…y’know totally deny her true feelings to his face all the while her ruby red face and internal squealing are a dead giveaway of her true thoughts. 

Okay, you know how Pineheads are starting to like to idea of Oscar wielding a gun, right? Well I once shared a small Pinehead canon before about Oscar knowing how to handle a gun because his family taught him back on the farm. The idea I had is that Oscar is a real sharpshooter and one day, while he’s watching Ruby have some target practice with Crescent Rose, Oscar asks Ruby if he could try her weapon.

I think it was part of something I would have liked to see where Oscar tries other characters weapons like Crescent Rose and while he failed at wielding the weapon in its scythe form, he totally excelled at it in its rifle mode proving himself to be an even better shooter than Ruby.

Like picture…Ruby and Oscar standing in a shooting range where Ruby’s lined up old beer bottles she’d scored from Qrow. It was supposed to be part of Ruby showing Oscar the ropes with her gun only for him to floor her with his impressive skills as he hit all targets perfectly.

Like picture Ruby being all delicate with Oscar like:

Ruby: Now listen up Oscar. Take it easy with Crescent Rose since this is your first time. Wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself now, okay Mr. Farm Boy?

Oscar: Ruby, please. I may have been raised on a farm all my life but I’ll let you know that I do know my way around a gun. My aunt taught me how to shoot so I think I’ll do alright.

Ruby: Aww look at you being all confident. That’s so cute. *pinches Oscar’s cheeks teasingly*

Oscar: *pouts while fanning Ruby’s fingers away from his face* Are we going to do this or what?

Ruby: Fine. Now remember what I said. While I’m sure whatever BB guns your aunt taught you with might have been good for the farm, Crescent Rose is no ordinary weapon. So go easy, take your time and don’t get too pouty if you don’t get it on the first try.

Oscar shoots and hits the first target right on the money.

Ruby: *shocked* O…kay. Well that was a lucky shot but I bet you can’t get it on the second try.

Oscar shoots again and successfully knocks down the second target.

Ruby: …or third?

Oscar just keeps shooting and by the time Ruby looked back at the target range, she had to pick her jaw off the floor from Vacuo as she gawked at the remains of what used to be a row of 25 bottles now reduced to nothing but shattered glass and dust by Oscar’s perfect aim. Ruby was stupefied…and oddly, a little turned o--- impressed!

Oscar: *smiling smugly* Not bad for a farm boy, isn’t that right Ms. Rose?

Ruby: *cheeks as red as her cape*…I…both love and hate you soooo much right now.

Whaddaya think of that?
