One deeply annoying thing I've noticed on here is how people will act as if comparing a Good thing to a Bad thing always consistently tarnishes the Good thing, even though that is rarely, if ever, the point the comparaison is making.
#someone will make a post comparing transness and therianism to show that they are not the same thing#and guaranteed there is someone in the notes going 'oh my god you are trying to say that transness is just like therianism (bad)'#'and that means you are trying to invalidate transness by comparing it to therianism'#like no!#ignoring whatever disagrements i have with the hypothetical original argument#that's not even what the bloody original argument is!#stop being wrong!#catgirltxt
