So… I just need to say that what Trump says in this video is a complete lie. Democrats did not ‘create’ trans a few years ago.

I read about this kind of thing due to curiosity a few years ago. Transsexualism has been a known and recorded belief/condition for thousands of years. It just wasn’t known as that until a version of the term ‘trans’ was coined in 1910, when GERMAN sexologist Magnus Hirschfeld coined the word transvestite. It was changed a few times after that until 1990, when it was shortened to just Trans by the LGBTQ community.

Fun fact: One of the first terms used to describe someone Trans was ‘Androgyne’, which more blanketed those who were Trans and those who were “Hermaphrodites” (I say this in quotes because most debate on ‘true’ hermaphroditism says that someone with both full female and male parts doesn’t exist). Anyway, that word was first recorded in 1552! No where near ‘a few years ago’!

Some known Trans people from history are…

• Galli Priests: Some priests of certain gods from Ancient Greece who wore women’s clothes and lived their lives as women.

• Gala: A Sumerian priest who lived sometime between 5000 and 3000 BC who documents say was transgender.

• Public Universal Friend: A priest from the late 1700’s who said they died and was reborn as a gender less person after surviving an illness. They dressed in androgynous clothes and founded an unconventional Christian sect, The Society of Universal Friends, who lasted until 1860, 40 years after The Friends death.

This is one of the reasons that testimonials have less argumentative weight than actual reputable verifiable evidence and sources in any information sharing.

Don't get tricked by pretenders on the internet telling you they're from marginalised backgrounds when all they're doing is pedalling non voting and anti voting propaganda . This was a proven tactic in 2016 , they're doing it again

Things like "voting doesn't do anything/ make a difference " -

Or one like "I'll vote third party instead" when everyone knows all third parties do is take votes away from the parties big enough to defeat the worst ones, especially in elections like this. That "logic" is used by : bots, paid disinformation anti voting peddlers, and idiots who think that will make them blameless and unaccountable.

Please engage critical thinking when encountering any information. And research any information you receive beyond what you first encounter from multiple reputable sources before you accept it
