You can dislike a black person, without hating black people as a whole.
You don’t have to see eye to eye with a Muslim, and not hate every Muslim.
You don’t have to get along with a gay person, and still not hate all gay people.
It’s fine to disagree with certain individuals, however it becomes unfair and toxic to judge the entire community based off of a bad apple.

Not every straight person is a bigot. ANYBODY can be a bigot. Not every straight person is homophobic. Not every straight white man is homophobic or a bigot. Stop generalizing. Just because you've seen some people do it doesn't mean everyone does it. It's just like how black people are stereotypically seen as criminals. You can't treat all of them as if they are. You can't say "Oh he's white. Straight. He hasn't been oppressed like me." You don't know that. You don't know their backstory. They could've been oppressed somehow. You can't judge a whole by a fraction. Try to understand first before you assume. Assuming is the worst thing you could do.
