We Didn’t Even Skip a Beat

This is just a reminder from the universe that had any of this be actually about babies, this country would prioritize excellent and universal maternity care. No matter how difficult or complicated the birth was. Not to mention lowering the cost for necessities like daycare in addition to having months of paternity and maternity leave.

I was wondering what counts as POC and BIPOC

I am south Asian, and we are not white, we are ‘brown’, but i don’t know if I count as a BIPOC or not.

Please help I am so confused, because I don’t want to be marginalised with white ppl

Hello Leana! From my understanding many people use POC and BIPOC interchangeably. BIPOC which stands for black, indigenous and people of color seem to be more specific. It’s certainly not easy living in these stressful times; factors like the pandemic, Covid fatigue, racial tensions and seasonal depression can all take a major toll on your mental health. The signs of burnout aren’t always obvious but here’s a few:

-Insomnia

-Exhaustion

- Amplified Anxiety

-Little to zero energy

-Irritability 

-Emotionally Overwhelmed

These are just a few signs, but detecting them early is a great step to stop these symptoms in their tracks before things worsen. Check on your friends and family during these hard times.
