How can I help stop PRISM even from my computer chair?

There are two ways we can stop our corrupt government and corporations from spying and crushing our last rights.

The first way is to flood their spynet with useless trash and wrong information so their systems will be rendered ineffective; they will not be able to discern what is real and what is not. Certain operations like #trolltheNSA aim do to this, but one obstacle stands in their way: if everyone submits the exact same message, the systems will simply detect that string of text as spam, and discard it anyway.

Everyone's message has to be unique.

The second way is to become anonymous and evade their spying as much as possible. We will discuss the first way first.

TrackMeNot - a plugin for Firefox that will run in the background and flood search engines like Bing, Yahoo, AOL and Google with random searches.

You can adjust how often the plugin will search so Google will not be able to block such searches without resorting to having a Captcha for every time someone wants to search. You can search even once per hour and this cannot activate their spam filter.

The plugin uses a big list of random search phrases that updates and changes all the time, and you can always make your own list or add your own words. This will make it impossible for Google to detect who is flooding them with fake data. And even if they detect it, they won't be able to see which searches are real and which are spam. They won't know when or what you search for.

Best of all the plugin runs in the background so you can still use your mouse and do what you do.
