am i the only one who is convinced that is not seto's ancestor but seto himself. just think about it. i know time traveling sounds ridiculous at this point, but ever since the time in 3rd episode (ithink) seto ran off and kido said he always does that, i became very suspicious of him. this didn't happen only once in the anime too. and kano seems to know something about this matter, it seems to me.
seto also does something that triggered my opinion in the 1st novel. when shintaro's feeling bad in the amusement park, sitting with kano and seto on a bench, seto offers to get shintaro some more water. shintaro doesn't want to trouble him any further and starts standing up to go get it himself. but right after he started standing up seto pushes him back down and stands up, ready to get the water. he takes his leave then and never appears with shintaro up until when they were returning with the dan.
all these details might seem ridiculous and small, but i'm deeply convinced we don't know everything about seto. he might be abusing (or just using it with her premission haha) marry's eye ability somehow to perform this. i don't know what would he be doing in the past, maybe he was trying to stop all this from happening. although his intention didn't seem to be killing azami.
besides i don't think the ancestor would look exactly like their far descendant and have the same voice. plus we all knew the story goes that azami just left to the never ending world and waited for her family to come but they never did. this is a bit different than that story isn't it?
