If you have read this title and felt that you’re ready to go mad at the author - you’d better stop reading that now. Because I really don’t care about your opinion right now, you, hater, so just pass it by. Because I can’t keep silent anymore.
To be honest, I’ve always respected TJLC'ers and other unisexual pairings, I have admired them and what they create: arts, fics etc. Sometimes they were able to feel all the charachters deeper than enyone else could.
But I can’t keep myself calm when I see everything what’s going on in the social media regarding to showruners of “Sherlock”. It’s OK to critisize the plot holes, but that’s definately not OK to bully and to hound them. We nave no right to blame them for betrayal, when they have honestly told us( in several times btw) that it’s not going to happen. That’s stupid at least.
That’s why everything what’s up in Mark Gatiss’s twitter is awfull. People who feel being offended didn’t notice that they started to offend and put down the MEN who litteraly gave them that fandom. Who created the whole world full of inspiration and exitement. The Men who have been lifted up to clouds by THOSE who are bullying them NOW.
Social opinion IS A WHORE #sorrynotsorry. And that disaster came to OUR HOUSE!
But I’m not the one(for sure) who is still gratefull Godtiss for the emotions and passion and inspiration of the whole awesome story they gave us. They made us move our stupid brains, solve cases with Sherlock, cry and laugh with John, love with Molly Hooper, and “God save the Queen” with Mycroft, so WTF? These people don’t deserve to be treated like that from people they trusted the most, and did their best, God! Right now we’re burning their hearts out of them. Is that the real emotion that we want them to feel?
They are professionals and of course they can ignore all this stuff. But I can’t.
And I suggest you to partisipate in the “LOVE & APPRECIATION” flashmob in TUMBLR and mostly TWITTER to support Mark and Steven with two main TAGS:
#IBelieveInSherlockHolmes (traditionally)
#ThanksForSherlock
You can add your own tags if you want, of course.
If we are not in TRENDS let’s just show them that we respect their gift and love them no matter what.
I know that I’m not alone! 28 Jan, Saturday, at 19:00 Greenwich.
If you’re IN-REPOST & SPREAD!
