It’s so rare that the international crew of #stopdreamingalone is able to talk together in real time due to our time zone differences. So while I was sad I didn’t do my due diligence to get the word out about our new summer session meeting time (Mondays 11am EST), it was wonderful to catch up with @emmaisaacsdesign @claireoldhamwest.co and @latina_livin_keto in real time while we imagined what wonderful views @kim.a.flodin must be basking in while she’s still on her well deserved break! #throwbackthursday to when @latina_livin_keto and I got to meet face to face for the first time last weekend! Saying things like, “Nice to meet you,” is ridiculous when you’ve spent every single day talking to one another through the ups and downs of building a business and all the life that surrounds it, but there we were, with our families saying such ridiculous things. We still dream of getting the whole international crew of #stopdreamingalone / #voxervixens under one roof together for a well earned retreat someplace lavish in Europe (oh yes @claireoldhamwest.co and @emmaisaacsdesign we are coming your way!), or walking in the woods over on the west coast with @kim.a.flodin as our guide, but these two chicks, with roots in New York found themselves where so many New Yorkers do these days: in Florida, checking out some clear waters and exotic sea life. Hey @clubhouse friends! Tomorrow the #StopDreamingAlone team will be taking a much needed week off. We were actually going to talk about the need for self-imposed down time and breaks, but then we realized it would be a better message if we simply practiced what we preached. Taking a day off from your passion project is healthy and helpful in the large scheme of things. Burn out is a real thing, even when you are your own boss!
