Ay thanks! Happy that our Squip visions align! It's taken me awhile to work out how I like drawing him and the other characters.

BMC is a weird one, a lot of those other musical fandoms around that 2016/17 time had bootlegs or cast recordings that solidified the characters. But I think a lot of us listened to that two rivers theatre version with like zero context on what scenes or characters would look like and it shows with the wildy different character interpretations. For me, I liked the Squips costume improvements from the Broadway stuff, but the character is lot more intimidating in the original so it’s very much a mix/match.

ANYWAY yeah I skipped out on participating with the fandom when this musical was actually popular, but it’s always stuck with me, so I hope you all enjoy this ride through unresolved Squip thoughts.

Cheers to everyone who’s left nice tags and reblogs. I have another 12 pages or so that I’ve planned out, so hopefully will be dropping a weekly update between my irl job and other fandom distractions.

ok uh I just had a bit of an important question occur to me: Do adri’s friends and family know about Hayden? Does Hayden still try to improve adri’s behaviour (slouching ect)? If someone asks her if she’s dating someone, what does she say? Is Hayden legally a person and if so, can he legally adopt a child?

H: Okay, one at a time

H: First, friends yes, family no

H: I do yes, although she has fantastic posture 80% of the time

H: Only confirms our relationship to people who know of my existence, otherwise no

H: And?? Legally I don’t believe so, and while I could electronically since adoption papers, I don’t think I fill the requirements to raise a child
