This is Tartan
One of my favourite cloths to own is the ‘Tartan’. I found this skirt at Forever21.
Of course this isn’t a true ‘Tartan’ skirt. Those are nearly impossible to come by, unless you have a Scottish relative. I love Tartan for several reasons, the texture and warmth of the cloth, the pattern and the royal colours that they come in. I was actually pretty surprised to come by this skirt in a perfect Royal Blue and Green.
You find Tartans in varied cuts now. Another reason why I love this skirt so much is that it came with these cute little suspenders. They have buttons on the inside, so you can adjust the length.
Style Tips -
Pair this one with a white or a black t-shirt or crop on the inside and you’re good to go!
Care -
The skirt isn’t pure wool, so maintenance is much easier. Still, you do want to maintain the softness of it. Try to keep away from your harsh detergents and hand wash this one in cold water.
