my favorite hp fic trope of the new era is “Harry has PTSD and is miserable with his life/job/relationship post-voldemort and stumbles on one Draco Malfoy who is Still Posh and Hopelessly Gay but is Reformed Good who is just Trying to Get By and all of Harry’s old must-obsess-over-malfoy habits come back and then they fall in love”

i haven’t read the odyssey since like 9th grade english class? and i remember it being....interesting lol. the story was great but there was never any focus on the actual writing of the text.
but this is the first translation published by a woman EVER so there have been a couple articles about it, and i read one that had her translation of the first stanza and i was TAKEN ABACK by how beautiful and riveting it was, and i needed to read it immediately.

It’s okay that you stopped writing for so long. It’s okay that you went years. Soon enough they’ll be a day where you feel weird if you aren’t working on something.
The ideas are there. They always were.
Pick up some other trade skills so you can yknow make money while you figure out how to make money with writing
