I foreshadowed this in the allegiances so I'm sure people MAY have caught on, but I really wanted to express Storkeyes being such an amazing dad to his very sickly child. Wisteria's also there supporting him, but she's on the verge of a breakdown (you'll see in Part 2)

It's gonna be a bit tricky getting used to referring to Saffron as a tom but I'll adjust lols. Anything for my trans baby boy that represents me: transgender and on the verge of death /j

Small Update + CCC Event Drawing!

Hi, fossils!

It’s been a long while since I uploaded, I apologize! For the past week now I have been incredibly sick (I have had a week-long migraine causing intense nausea) and am not scheduled for an EEG until Friday, so I’ve just been trying to tough it out. On top of that, I’ve been very busy trying to pass senior year (I’ve been behind) without needing to get a core diploma. Life goes on, but FossilClan just has not been a priority in my life lately.

Hopefully by the time summer break comes I can be a tad bit more active! I’ve been aiming for taking a one-year break from schooling before entering college so I should hopefully have a lot more time to work on this starting summer of 2026.

I also thought I would give an update about FossilClan’s game status: it is pretty much fully reconstructed! I’m sort of starting anew on the relationships since I want to see where they pick up - previous moon events happenings will be implemented into the moons, but I’m just choosing to have a fresh start on the relationships since the moon ended on a pretty big event that could impact our characters greatly anyways.

Just thought I’d give an update! As sort of an apology for my hiatus, I figured I would post a Storkeyes drawing that I have made for the @cccdiscord’s one year anniversary banner event!!

Anyways, again apologies for the inactivity, and I hope that sooner or later I can once again pick up FossilClan and continue where we left off since we have some interesting plot-driving events coming up in the near future! Hope to see you all very soon! Bye-bye!!

Storkeyes has an apprentice and it’s his own friend’s kid! Wisteria and Stork are real good buddies in the future so to see that friendship bloom during Wisteriapaw’s apprenticeship will be really neat :)

Stork is such a lovely dad, love fatherly figure mentors

The whole patrol, if anyone is curious, consisted of Wisteriapaw, Saffronpaw, Rockclaw, and Nightstrike. Everybody was shaken up by Saffron's sudden near-death experience - Rockclaw, who is hiding in his nest; Nightstrike, who distances himself from his Clanmates slowly; and of course poor little Wisteriapaw, who blames herself for everything.

But Storkeyes will always look after her.

A new cat! Not to the Clan unfortunately but even outsiders are interesting

Fun fact, he was originally female but I really wanted to keep the name Bruno, so I just changed his gender in the code. Maybe he’s trans+bi or something!! It’s fun to think about. Although idk how trans kittypets with owners works… oh well! Who cares? TRANSGENDER BISEXUAL

The other cat (yellow tabby) with Moonstar (calico) is named Shattersun!

Should also mention that Saffronpaw (small gray tabby next to Storkeyes, the dad) is now an apprentice! Rockclaw is Saffron's mentor :)

This is when the lore part of our story is gonna start kicking in. Flamemallow's REALLY gotta work on her… solemnity for these kits OTL

FOSSILCLAN - MOON 1

Just a bunch of cats being mean to each other. Dads never get a break - even if it’s coming from their own Clanmates and not their kids!

Background style is very simple and still a work in progress. I didn’t feel like doing anything too detailed as those are hard to push out (and therefore I want to save them only for important scenes.) That style definitely is subject to change later on!

I definitely consider Storkeyes to sort of be our protagonist so far, as he’s been involved in a lot of the more major events that have been laid out for the future. So expect to see a lot of him! Good thing, I think he’s very silly haha
