Storm Cloud
The clouds are a deep grey.
The cold moves in swiftly.
The droplets fall all at once.
When it rains,
it pours.
My face is pointed
towards the sky.
Eyes closed-
focused intently
on breathing.
The water pounds
onto me.
I am drenched.
I am drowning,
with a refusal
to go down.
I will fight
until my final
breath.
