After Reginmund had received word from the Keeper to head back to Sanctuary until further notice he had said goodbye to Nadya wishing her well as she would be left with Gabriel and the others. Hopefully no harm would come to her.

He had made it back to their mansion with a few hours to spare before sunrise and now was feeling much more relaxed thanks to Wolfgang. Sighing in pleasure as he rolled off his lover, the taste of blood still on his lips and smudges on his skin he looked over and trailed his cool fingertips along the marks on the other man’s neck.

“Have I mentioned how much I hate being sent away from you? Are you that sure this prophecy will come to pass?” It wasn’t often he questioned his King but with the information coming from outside Vampire sources he was over cautious, especially if it meant leaving you unprotected. Of course the Blood King was more than capable of defending himself, but sometimes things didn’t work out and that was his fear. That something or someone would harm his love.
