Told two of my coworkers I got emotional watching the tornado video because it was so beautiful and one of them narrows her eyes and looks at me for a beat and then nods and goes, "yeah, I could see you as a storm chaser" and like yes but you didn't have to say it that way

Hey so a smalls heads up for everyone:

We’re going to be hit by the aftermath of the most recent hurricane that hit the West and the possibility of losing power is really high. I just wanted to make this known so y’all know why I die if I die. I’ll respond to rps soon, promise, but I gotta do things so I’ll do that later.

I am exhausted. I made a massive Target run and Brian and I both have been doing household chores all day long.

He’s currently assembling an over-the-toilet storage unit while I take a breather. Previously I was packing up picture frames and things and putting them into storage. Once he’s done I’m gonna fill the storage unit with things I need to store in the bathroom.

I tried to call home but apparently (and I only saw this after I tried on my brother’s Twitter) they have no power. That explains why the answering machine never picked up. My best friend is also texting me asking for my mom’s cell number so that her parents can figure out if we think the power is coming back any time soon. Of course her parents live next door to my parents so usually they could walk over. I think they might be staying with my bff at the moment, though, so that would explain why they’d need the number.

Brian’s parents are also without power right now.

We have power here at the condo. IDK why we’re the only people not suffering right now.

Yoooooo, there’s a big thunderstorm rolling through, and this huge ass rumble of thunder lasted for TWENTY SECONDS.

I haven’t gone to sleep yet, but I am EXCITED.

@avpdkamuii yeah... I had enough nightmares about tornados that I don't want to be anywhere near them. I only like thunder/lightning storms... Houston flooding was crazy. I'm glad you're okay. I don't like the storm season...

Alright, the worst part of the storm passed us over just fine.

I felt silly bringing all of my tech down to the basement, even though it was only three items and the largest one was my laptop.

there's a tornado warning like 20 miles from here and the storm is headed for us but like. the sirens have already gone off once today and it was nothing. and I'm just trying to get to braums and get some ice cream before the next round gets here lmao #tornadoalleyprobs
