how long the slow burn in “stormbenders” is? i’m actually a big fan of really slow slow-burns

It's pretty slow! I'm normally not super into that but the burn isn't forced for the sake of being a slow-burn; there's a plot outside of the zk relationship and it really explores nuances in bending styles (bloodbending, stormbending) along with zutara's relationship with aang (which is super wholesome) and zuko and toph. It's super feel good. I don't think the romance shows up for maybe 100k? :)

The beginning just didn’t grab me first time around. Idk why 🤷🏻‍♀️

To be fair, it's a long, long slowburn! But by the time you get to chapter 10/18ish and it starts to heat up it'll steal your heart :)

Okay, I rarely read fanfic but I heard Stormbenders was must read for anyone still bitter about zutara....and dammit it’s good.  I spent a whole day and half a night reading it and I’m still not fucking done though!  I have work to do!  But I have to finish it!  Argh!
