Stormbrake venting about how he's stuck with a form he hates and Optimus being the one to go "you know you can change it right?" and next thing you know Stormbrake's not only a lime green bulldozer but somehow managing to drive it like a racecar so he can peel out

How did they meet Optimus Prime?

And yes. I'm asking about all of them (Nightflash, Stormbrake, Rowan, etc.)

Stormbrake and Nightflash were part of the same group of civilian bots. Leadership got news that the Decepticons were closing in, and sent Stormbrake off with the sparklings to get them as far from danger as possible. They were the only survivors. When Stormbrake later decided to join the rebellion to fight back against the bots who killed his family, Nightflash snuck off after him. He couldn't convince feyr to leave so they both became members of the rebellion.

When Mirage almost stepped on Rowan's bike, Rowan promptly followed him back to the base, bitching him out all the way for his carelessness. Mirage pointed the yelly human toward Optimus so Optimus could handle it (aka so Optimus could get yelled at instead), and Rowan promptly gave Optimus a piece of his mind too. Optimus was what you might call unimpressed. Rowan did not much care.

Goldshot was one of the bots on Optimus' work team, before the war broke out. She was in the last twenty years of being a sparkling when she joined his team, young at the time for such a role but very skilled. She was an even-headed sparkling, besides her instinct to adopt every animal she saw, so they got along pretty well. She was one of the bots to survive the war and arrive on Earth, where she promptly found a whole bunch of new animals to adopt.

i really am insane about stormbrake's whole thing like. he decided to commit a murder to see if that would make him worthy of affection. like sure by the end of the story and all he's KINDA rehabilitated but like. there's still a part of him that's entirely willing to kill somebot for FAR less reason than like. literally anybot else. he loves deeply and that is a threat.

I should introduce Stormbrake to fainting goats, he'd find it hilarious but he'd also feel SO bad whenever he accidentally made one fall over

idk if Transformers can cry canonically, but the first time The Cat does that cat thing of rolling over to show their stomach and then clawing your hand to bits when you touch it, I know for sure that Stormbrake cries about it cause he thinks it hates him now and the rest of the Autbots gotta scramble to fix that

8. What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story?

Heaton - we're both a good shot and like animals, and we're both disabled (in very different ways). I can't think of anything else!

Stormbrake - I gave a robot PTSD and dysphoria, I'm so sorry buddy- also one of his colours is robin's egg blue, which is one of my favouites! and his alt form is a crawler dozer and I love watching construction equipment get up to things.

15. What is something about your OC can make you laugh?

Heaton - he has pet rats! he likes to let them ride around in the pockets or hood of his hoodie.

Stormbrake - he's coparenting one of the loudest and most chaotic bots in existence and their shenanigans are always deeply entertaining to me
