AU is the greatest thing to happen to the Sterek fandom bc canon is just a mess these days, but omg 14! I've been in fandom since I was younger but I was into the Jonas Brothers and I only ever saw fic of Miley Cyrus and I just no. Haha. After I read a few more WW fic i think I might look for an AU but now I'm enjoying the ww vibe.
AUs are great (but I think I said that already ;) ).
I’ve just realised that means I’ve been writing/reading fanfic for 15 years….wow.
RPF (real people fic) was where I started (KISS and Beatles fanfic) but it kind of squicks me now so I avoid it at all costs.
West Wing doesn’t have many true AUs, but the do have a few alternate story paths (Like what if Donna had lost her job in season 3, what if Jed had lost the second election, what if Donna had never come back to the Campaign.)
