still debating if STORMHILL is going to be a comic or novel, lowkey leaning towards novel now

funny thing[idk its sorta dark tho bc it deals with being inanimate and unliving yet still fuctioning like you are another living being]:

in STORMHILL, spiruts can't even be considered living

they're literally made of magic

but they still decay

ans they can still die

and they can still be injured both mentally and physically

but the only reason they aren't considered living is because they are made of magic and don't have any soul

they have their own DNA

the magic used for their creation does accumulate into cells that make up their bodys

but the cells aren't cells, they're more like capsids

virus-like, and they can't even feel the pain when they are wounded

they are designed to be weapons, or servants, or whatever the god made them to do

and they go insane if they can't complete their role

they aren't supposed to feel

they aren't supposed to have morals

but angelus does

angelus has his own morals, feelings, and everything inbetween. he can feel pain, and knows what heartbreak is.

but even then, some things he cannot escape.
