Dalinar's order?
Oh you mean the
"Sometimes a hypocrite is nothing more than a man in the process of changing" - Oathbringer, by Brandon Sanderson.
There is something about this quote that resonates deeply with me. Its probably the implication that being hypocritical does not inherently mean that your stagnate in your beliefs or ideals. The implication that one can change and the realisation that you as a person have changed (either of better or for worse from your own perspective). Because in the present world being a hypocrite is looked down upon.
Maybe a hypocrite is someone typing to figure out the world and made some mistakes along the way. Maybe a hypocrite is someone who is trying to understand new concept or challenging their older ones.
This quote and its context have drastically changed my own ideas about the concept of being hypocritical and honestly i cannot type all my thoughts because it wouldn’t make sense and also that fact that i dont know how to write about my thoughts either. If i had to type it it would probably look like this: dgbsl ;sihfube sbkffe s;kbjfe.
I just wanted to put this out there :).
Honestly, the best plot twist in Endgame is that the Alethi were the original voidbringers and not the Parshendi. That shook me up hard.

Oathbringer reread (number 6 I think?)
So firstly I know I’m slow noticing some things. But I just saw how specific and concerning Dalinar’s comments about his deal with the Nightwatcher.
He says “I asked her to take my pain”. Little on the nose. Surprised I didn’t notice it the second time through. Though to be fair I was still freaking out about Taln. That messed me up for weeks.
Every one has crazy magic power and Adolins just like

Vivenna: Sorry I can't help you I need to find a talking sword.
Co: How about instead, you come with us and prevent the end of the world.
Vivenna: Fuck you, I'm going to look for the talking sword.
Co: Well fuck you too.
Vivenna: *leaves*
Co: Hey look, a talking sword.
