This is a fantastically accurate description! Of my wife. :) (I’m probably equally organised/on top of things at home and at work, but living for most of your adult life with someone with ADHD really skews your ability to tell what counts as ‘meticulously organised’ and what doesn’t.)

He’s beautiful. Head thrown back, the sun catching the line of his throat, I watch him and can’t suppress a smile.

“What?” he asks, when his half-lidded eyes catch mine.

“Nothing,” I say. “I like when you laugh.”

He slides his palm across the floorboard of the porch between us. “Hey,” he says quietly. “I like your laugh, too.”

I put my hand down next to his, just barely touching. “You want to take the truck out?”

“Sure,” he says. He pulls on the shoes he’d shucked off earlier, and I offer my hand.

He takes it.

4: Total number of words you wrote this year

oh geez so many, uhhhhh. well at the moment TtTaR’s total word count, when including unposted/unfinished, is sitting at about 120,000. My original book is up to 24,500. If I average the one shots I wrote at about 2000, that’s another 34,000. So...

178,500, minimum. There’s definitely stuff I haven’t counted. And I’ll probably be writing another 5-10k before the end of the year, in theory.

13: Favorite writing song/artist/album of this year

this is a toughie. i have gone through a Lot of music this year. some artists that i’ve listened to a lot of whilst writing though would probably be: Imagine Dragons, P!NK (as of like this month) and Fall Out Boy. but i have some random ass music i’ve listened to a lot.

favourite individual song is definitely Criminals by MSMR, it’s my theme track for TtTaR and it’s Great

24: Favorite fic you read this year

i was gonna say this was hard because i have a shit memory BUT. Twin Scars and Showers by AgenderMaine/AngelusErrare ( @alonneknight ) definitely stand out to me, i remember them giving me Very Happy Feels
