Characters- Kylo Ren x Reader
It had been a swift rise to Captain. No one else was as successful when it came to researching and acquiring sith and jedi relics. You were surprised no one was suspicious, but since you were a youngling, you’d always managed to suppress your gift, but it had always led you to places and people that were force users no matter how hard you tried.
Recently you’d been assigned to the Finalizer, your reputation noticed by the Supreme Leader himself. You’d been working extra hard to build up your mental wall, hiding who you were since arriving on the ship.
Now here you were in a room with 5 of your finest raid troopers, having been briefed by Kylo Ren on a mission to Vargos 9 to hunt down some sith relics.
“Everyone dismissed.” The Supreme Leader ordered.
Chairs scraped the polished floor, the troopers filed out.
“CH-3184. Remain behind.” The deep, distorted motionless voice of Kylo Ren commanded you.
A chill shivered through you. He couldn’t know? You’d been so careful.
He loomed towards you. Finger raised. “You’ve been hiding from me.”
Your blood ran cold and hot.
Frak.
Thank the gods for your helmet or your face would have given you away. Deny or admit it? You opted for silence.
He chuckled. Ren’s massive gloved hands pushed at the side of his head, and with a hiss and a click, removed his helmet. A mass of dark curls tumbled around his neck and framed his striking face.
You stifled a gasp. You had no idea how devastatingly handsome he was under the mask.
“Look me in the eye and tell me I’m wrong. Take off that helmet Captain.”
You had no choice. He closed the space between you as you placed your helmet on the table.
“There you are. I see you.” His deep voice soft, curious. He removed his leather gloves slowly. Contemplating you. Your breath hitched as he took your jaw with one hand tilting your head upwards, staring into your eyes, as if still searching.
Then you heard his voice, in your head. “Don’t resist. You can’t hide, not from me.”
Under that intense dark gaze, terror took hold. You tried to retain the mental wall, but it crumbled under Kylo’s force. Everything you’d ever hidden growing up, being different and alone, how you were enlisted into the first order, the fear of you being found out and executed as a force user, all exposed for him to see. A sob escaped you as your knees buckled under the weight of him flooding your mind.
He pulled you close, his hand wrapping round the back of your neck, one behind your lower back, stopping your fall.
“You’re not alone anymore. I will show you the ways of the force. You need a teacher.” He said tenderly, lips brushing your ear as he righted you again. You couldn’t stop the shudder as his hand stroked the small of your back as he released you.
His words were like a balm to the raging agony you’d lived with forever. You opened your mouth to answer, but couldn’t find the words. Hot heat burned the back of your eyes. Blinking back the threatening tears, you simply nodded.
“We begin your training on Vargos 9.” He said as he scanned your face, his eyes darkened. His gaze flicked from your parted lips to your eyes. You couldn’t look away. Then as suddenly as this had all happened, a change came over him.
“Dismissed Captain. Report to me on the landing bay with your squad in 30 minutes.” The Supreme Leader barked.
That snapped you out of it. Years of training kicking in. Picking up your helmet you headed through the doors. He called after you.
“The dark side is in our nature. Surrender to it.”
Turning round you felt a wave of his power slowly caress behind your ear, down the column of your neck. Something dangerous played on his face, a smirk curled his lips.
The pit of your core stirred with desire.
Shit. This was going to be a tougher mission that you anticipated.
