Human connection is a letter hidden inside a bottle sent out to the sea. We hope that it arrives in one piece across the ocean of difference between us. We hope the handwriting is legible, and they write back soon. But on stormy days, sometimes, we're just lucky that it makes it safely to the shore.

Because it’s easy to love you in the sunshine. It’s easy to hold your hand when the skies are clear and the path is smooth. But who shows up when it’s pouring? When you’re breaking? When life is soaked in chaos and you’re barely holding it together?

That’s the real test.

The ones who choose discomfort just to be near you. The ones who could walk away, stay dry, stay safe — but instead, they say: “You’re not facing this storm alone.”

Remember them. And maybe more importantly — remember the ones who didn’t. Because love isn’t proven when it’s easy. It’s proven when it’s easier not to, and they still choose you anyway.

That's loyalty. That’s love. That’s rare.

So don’t beg for someone to care. Watch who gets wet for you.
