This show’s relationship with secondhand embarrassment is the weirdest I’ve ever seen. By all rights I should be cringing constantly, but you just can’t be secondhand embarrassed when you *know* the MC is thinking to himself “Y'know what would be tons of fun? Doing an embarrassing thing and watching people cringe!”
OMG! Yes! That’s exactly what it’s like. Watching WuWu in that first episode I was like, “this is gonna be bad, I’m going to hate it so much!” but then... it’s jut hilarious? He hears someone say he has a mental disorder and he’s like, “I can *use* this!” and then proceeds to fall to the ground and say he won’t be moved. And it’s funny, and I kinda love it.
I also think part of it is that he’s being a scamp, but in the lovable and cute way, instead of the cruel or malicious way. He’s not really trying to hurt anyone, he’s just being playful. I find that I’m okay with this.

Ohmygod this is so interesting!! You are the first person I know who loves PWP and SlowBurn at the same time this is so cool.
OMG! I *write* slow burn stories SO MUCH, it’s not always intentional, but it happens! LOL One of my SPN fics, like, they don’t get together until near the very end of the story, LOL. But then you get those PWP’s, and you’re like, yaaas!, good, do the things baby! There is absolutely a time for both of these things. :)

I looove american horror story and teen wolf as well.. but i only watched the first 2 season i couldn't deal with what they done to sterek after the second season
I love almost every season of AHS. Fun fact, I started watching it when the first season came out on Netflix. I started it when M was working, and she called me after a few hours and told me she was stuck on a double so I literally watched the entire season in one sitting. I never could finish Freak Show or Hotel. I think those are the only two I never got through. I tried each of them multiple times but just couldn’t? But LOVE other seasons man. Yaaas!
Teen Wolf had problems, and I’m pretty sure it went from MTV to CW or something after season 2? But like, my favorite season is 3B (this A/B season bullshit was dumb man) because you get to see Dylan O’Brian literally go from Stiles to murder man in .2 seconds and it’s a fucking *delight*! There are still some good Sterek things in 3B, but I hated a lot of 3A “true Alpha” “Alpha Pack” bullshit. Like, they set it up so you thought that maybe this Alpha Pack was going to be judging Derek so he had to look strong, but then you find out it’s just this random pack of Alpha’s and why did Derek have to make a bunch of betas right away because of them??? But yeah, there’s a lot of love in me for the first couple of seasons.
The most hilarious thing is that according to Scott/Posey stans’ own “logic” (that disliking Scott McCall makes you a racist), hating on canonical neurodivergent character of Slavic descent Stiles Stilinski makes them racist, ableist and xenophobic, too
Yup. People of color and people with different races only count when they’re not white, didn’t you know? I mean, there’s no such thing as Polish and Irish, and German and English and Swiss and... and... and... This very argument has been told to them, but they don’t actually have a logical come back for it, and wave the “It’s not made a big deal in canon so he’s only white” reasoning. Which, once again, by their reasoning, Scott McCall is, like, white.

Wow!!!! I looks great! Well done you guys :D
Thanks! It was a real labor of love, took us a month to get it finished, but it was so much fun! Also, it looks so great. We kept having things go wrong, of course, but we powered through! <3
halfhardtorock reblogged your post:Do men really not know that when you say no to sex...
Oh ok so mens bad behavior is women’s fault? Mm ok great let me just write that down. Men coerce women into unwanted...
Okay, so I would have reblogged the reply you gave in its entirety, but I can’t for some reason. I’m sorry, I thought we were from different eras and you were actually looking for the answer. I was saying it was *everyone’s* fault. Women and men both have to realize things have changed and change accordingly. Men should not be given a free pass, if someone says no, they need to stop, no excuses. All I’m saying is that there was an actual, societal thing that encouraged men to push women into doing what they wanted, and women would seek out this behavior, expecting that the “right” man would do it. Now we’ve got a bunch of mixed up signals because this isn’t okay, and yet parents are still teaching their children that it is.
Jesus Christ, my fucking Grandmother used to tell me to look for a rich man, and taught me how to woo a man, and how to gain his favor, and all the “tricks” to land the right one. Then told me how to not give him too much room, and make him “come to me” with “more fervor” than before. She would go on to say if he “really wanted you” then he would “pursue you”. Then she told me how to keep the right house because the wrong one would make them run scared and in order to keep a rich house, because I wasn’t marrying a poor man right?, I had to do this or that. I was *raised* hearing these things. If I had believed them, then I would have been helping to perpetuate this ridiculous double standard that is utter tripe.
I’m not saying that it’s women’s fault this thing exists. I’m saying that this thing NEEDS TO GO.
