Why are people sending you words and getting stars? I can't figure it out.

I figure they are learning their first few words as a greyface, so rewarding them with stars seems like a way of keeping them from performing disgusting feats of magic later. They are likely reasonable enough to avoid causing problems to someone who has given them a gift.
