My mascot proposal did not go at all as expected.
In fact, Hux almost laughed me out of the room. He said that, in many cultures, calling someone a "chicken" means they are cowardly or afraid, and we want everyone to know that First Order troopers are fearless.

Surely he must be referring to some other creature of the same name, and not the feathered hell beast that went straight for my Achilles tendon with its razor beak when I looked at it wrong? (Mental note: Thank AR-T13 for these strong-ass boots when I get back to the ship).
Yes. That's it. It has to be a misunderstanding. A case of mistaken identity or a language barrier issue. That's the only possible explanation.
