I have read, and re-read (and re-re-read) Down the Road and Back Again, and I LOVE it so much! But I just read Sever the Tie, and I love that in this one, Katara and Zuko get to raise their family together! I love that Izumi gets a loving mom (what happened to Mai, btw) and I love that Bumi and Kya get an amazing, non-judgmental dad. I love that there are STEAM BABIES in this!!!! Most of all, I love that despite getting what he thinks he wants, Aang gets to spend the rest of his life looking on enviously while Katara gets everything she deserves

This wedding has been one of the most anticipated events of the simmerverse and you did not come to play games. Even the moments leading up to it were good. You are such a great storyteller and I have throughly enjoyed this journey of Mel and Nick getting hitched. The pictures were beautiful and everyone looked amazing. There were so many good parts but if I had to pick, you already know which ones were my favorite. I can’t wait to see them on their honeymoon and then living in their new home in the Pinnacles. I’m sure BBN will be stalking the newlyweds hard now. 😂😂

I'm glad you enjoyed it all. Sometimes I felt like I was exhausting you guys with allllll the extras because, like you said, y'all been anticipating this for a hot minute. But I wanted it to feel real and for you guys to feel their excitement and anticipation as well. Good to know it was just me overthinking again lol.

You KNOW BNN is having a global staff meeting right now! 🤣 That organization is getting way too big and confident lol.

This’ll have to do for now. I would just reply in the comments, but this isn’t my main sooooo ... here we are. Anyone got tips on how to handle this going forward? 

@staff​ - stop fixing things that aren’t broke and pay attention to the things we DO want changed! I don’t want/need a new activity feed. I need to be able to send asks and replies and whatnot from any of my blogs I choose, not just my main blog. *frustrated groan*

The way you write Aang is juicy gossip worthy 🤣

Out of curiosity would any acolytes ever decide to leave for some reason and would they be allowed to leave without much drama?

The Acolytes could probably leave whenever they wanted, and some of them probably did, but others, especially the ones who had airbending children probably stayed to raise their kids communally. It would be the most convenient. Aang wasn't a great father, but thanks to a combination of Air Nomad artifacts, reparations paid to him by the Fire Nation, and gifts to the Avatar, he was pretty well off. Well off enough to provide for the kids and their mothers who stayed. Also, only the women he was messing with got tires of him, for a lot of the other acolytes, the shine of the Avatar never faded.

For Severing the Tie, you know how emperors go down with like honorifics like Alexander the Great? Avatar Aang goes down as Avatar Aang the Horny

Aang ultimately ends up a historical foot note. His moniker would be "Aang, the Extant". Well, he existed, anyway...🤷🏾‍♀️

Omg I just thought about child support for 22 kids, Aang's either gonna have to get a salary for being avatar, or go real hard into the "no worldly possessions" angle

He's probably got enough income for another dozen kids comfortably. Also, let's be real, he wasn't keeping up with any child support to Katara after she left. Also, also, she took half his money when she divorced him, so even without her job, or marrying Zuko, she would've been fine.
