So many things this Spring!
As the days get warmer, there are quite a few upcoming events we are looking forward to this Spring! First, the BIBLF Storybook Character Breakfast Series continues this Saturday through Saturday, April 20th. This coming weekend, visit with characters from Beauty and the Beast as you enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast served with our very own 100-Acre Wood Pure Maple Syrup. Doors open at 9:30 am and the classic story will be read starting at 10:00 am. Next Saturday, April 13th, we are expecting a visit from the one and only Tigger and his buddy Eeyore! The following weekend, April 20th, is our annual Earth Day Celebration with Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax! In the 100-Acre Wood, sugaring season is still upon us! The Sugar Shack remains to be open on weekends throughout the month until April 20th. Each Saturday and Sunday, visit the Sugar Shack between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm to sample our delicious warm maple syrup and our famous maple popcorn! Take a sneak peek at the evaporator while we make maple syrup and learn all about the process. There is also a self-guided storybook trail that will teach youngsters all about maple sugaring! Enjoy a variety of maple products available for purchase as well! Finally, we look forward to the premiere of Believe in Books Youth Theatre’s Spring production of Disney’s Frozen JR. The cast list was released this week and rehearsals begin this Sunday! We had an incredible turnout for auditions so there will be four performances featuring two different casts. The show will open on Friday, May 31st, with additional shows on Saturday, June 1st, Friday, June 7th, and Saturday, June 8th. All performances will begin at 7:00 pm with doors opening at 6:30 pm. Online ticket sales will be opening soon for all performances so stay tuned!
