St Ouen’s sunset Taken at the slip at Sands a while back. Watching the tide come in just to it’s highest point is always interesting and in Jersey due to the long tidal range (one of the longest in Europe) it’s always fun to see how far it comes in and out. When you want to get a picture of dramatic waves on a stormy day and forget that those same waves can throw up spray that gets you really really wet. More amazing skies from my weekend walk. The wether remains really changeable with intense heavy rain and hail showers coming out of nowhere while the sun is still shining! I’ve never known it to be this unsettled for so long. Still about 6 weeks to go before the shortest day of the year and then thankfully the days will start getting longer again. Amazing stormy skies over St Ouen’s Bay yesterday. It was great to get out and have an (almost) completely dry walk.
