me here freaking out because the duffer brothers said that for the final season they want to explore the original teams of the first season and I was happy to see Dustin, Mike, Lucas and El together again but then I remembered that in that season Will was all alone :’c

I’m sorry, the Jancy breakup was so bad that most people didn’t even see it as a breakup until the Duffers confirmed it. I actually thought they had beautifully mended their relationship and had a heart to heart

Bro, what? It was obviously a break up. How could they have been any clearer that they see their relationship as suffocating, and were unhappily held together by shared trauma? They will always love each other but they want to be free. Plus Nancy doesn't want Steve either. I absolutely refuse to accept that most people didn't get that. I think fans have a hard time looking past their biases and expectations sometimes.
