Hi I came across your post about strabismus surgery and I was widening if you were willing to share some information with me about it! I am having it done Tuesday and I am really interested in how you were after surgery & if you are happy with your results?
Hi! Sorry, I didn’t see your mail before (:
After the surgery I was very tired because of the narcosis. It took me three days to recover from the narcosis. My right eye hurt and it was worst the third day - by then it was awfully swollen, and hurt like hell.
You can see pictures on my Swedish blog here http://furiadeamor.blogspot.se/2012_12_01_archive.html Dag 2 means day 2, I think that you get it ;) there is also a post about the surgery itself, it’s in Swedish, but maybe you could use Google Translate or something :P
I was very happy with the result - I have been without prism glasses since then (10/12 2012). But now, 1,5 year after the surgery, my eye is turning outside again… So I need to see an orthoptist again and maybe do the surgery once more. That doesn't bother me very much - I find it quite exciting to visit hospitals x)
Please update me on your surgery! :)
