Straight-arm planche workout today. . It's been almost 4 weeks since my hamstring injury and my range of motion is vastly improved. I still need to rebuild strength throughout the entire range of movement, but also I need to continue to remove the mental barriers the injury put in place. Today's session helped to regain some of that lost confidence. So much so that I even threw in some scrappy straddle planche push-ups despite it being a straight-arm session. 🤪 . Also, I ate a massive bag of Doritos last night so maybe that helped. . Today’s workout... . 💪🏼 L-sit to tuck planche - slow and controlled to recruit strength. 💪🏼 L-sit to straddle planche kick - great for helping the body feel the straddle planche position. 💪🏼 Straddle planche hold - near max hold, but with enough in the tank to return to L-sit in a controlled manner 💪🏼 Straddle planche lean - on parallettes and elevated so it’s a closer approximation of the straddle planche. Really focusing on scapula protraction and depression and posterior pelvic tilt. . #straddleplanche #straddleplanchepushups #plancheprogression #fitoverforty #fitover40 #roadtoplanche #planchejourney #journeytoplanche https://www.instagram.com/p/B6_ulOcJQlN/?igshid=1qjumx6397fe4
