if I'm being brutally honest, I liked Arthur the best when he was an actual old man. there's something oddly charming about him being a washed up rich guy who actually regrets being a shitty dad/husband. ngl I'm not a fan of the "Stranger" mumbo jumbo, but I am being VERY biased here.

Doll Eye theory ✨

(Minor spoilers for Chapter 1 <3)

So basically Guy could be Stranger, not only because of the scribbly face but also because he claims to have lost his daughter in Sunshine Field hospital, and last time he saw Mystery they identified as Trans-feminine, and used the pronouns she/her and they/them, so Stranger could have possibly seen Pastery as a girl. He assumes Pastery died there because that might have been the last place Pastery went before going "missing". He also could have been a fatherly figure to Peter because he misses his own child.

This could be and is likely wrong, but it's something that I thought up.
